The short version: Alberto tranquilli, trading as Extrudo, participates in affiliate programs. Some product links inside the service are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
When a repair plan step recommends replacing a physical part — for example a nozzle, PTFE tube, cooling fan, or bed spring — we may show a "Get this part" card next to that step linking to a retailer such as Amazon. Each such link is clearly labelled "affiliate link". Steps that only recommend a settings or calibration change do not carry affiliate links.
We pick generic categories (e.g. "brass MK8 nozzles", "Capricorn PTFE tube") based on what solves the diagnosed defect — not based on which retailer pays the highest commission. We do not accept payment or free product for placement. If a category has no clear generic recommendation, we don't show a link.
Alberto tranquilli, trading as Extrudo, is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com and its international storefronts. We may add other affiliate programs over time; when we do, they'll be listed here.
Affiliate links never make the product more expensive for you. The commission comes from the retailer's margin, not from you. You are free to search for the same product yourself instead of clicking our link — we won't know either way.
Affiliate revenue helps keep the free diagnosis tier free and offsets AI inference costs. It's a small but honest way for a bootstrapped product to stay sustainable.
