About Extrudo

Extrudo is an independent, bootstrapped tool built by 3D printing hobbyists for 3D printing hobbyists. The goal is simple: take the guesswork out of failed prints. Snap a photo of what came off the bed, and get a plain-English diagnosis with a step-by-step fix — no forum digging, no jargon.

Why we built it

Every beginner has been there: three hours into a print, something goes wrong, and the internet answer is "it could be one of fifteen things". Modern AI is good enough to look at a photo and narrow that down instantly. So we built the tool we wished we'd had.

How it works

• You upload a photo of the print, tell us the printer and material.
• Google's Gemini vision model analyses the photo against a growing library of community-confirmed fixes.
• You get a sequential repair plan — one step at a time — and can log what actually worked.
• Fixes that work get added back into the library so the next person gets a better answer.
